Full-time (40 hours per week) 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Prefer someone with Employee Benefits experience; however, very willing to train into an account management position; someone from Property/Casualty or no experience in benefits, but a solid foundation in working in a professional office setting. 

We are looking for someone that is an independent worker and problem solver to work as an Account Manager with daily tasks in our fun, friendly and growing health insurance brokerage located in North Seattle
We really need someone who:
  • Is comfortable working independently
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Is proficient with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Has a keen eye for detail and is analytical
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Five years of experience working in an office setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service for assigned accounts, which include handling daily emails and phone calls from customers
  • Oversee administration of new business and renewals, and ensure they are processed correctly with the insurance carriers.
  • Provide information and guidance to clients and client employees about all insurance coverage need
  • Work with producers to support day-to-day needs of clients
  • Request proposals from carriers and analyze data in order to prepare spreadsheet for presentation to the client    
  • Prepare and manage the request for proposal process
