The Director of Product Management is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. 
This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver the winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Director of Product Management’s job includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Direct the Product Lifecycle Management Process (PLCM).
  • Analyzes product performance, product competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops strategies for assigned product/brand based on research and analysis.
  • Works with sales teams to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies.
  • Define the product strategy and create product development roadmap.
  • Coordinate development and deployment of sales training materials to support new product commercialization and existing product lines, including value-selling material.
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
  • Act as product expert with particular emphasis on part numbers, configurations, and cataloging.
  • Collect and maintain competitive intelligence, products, price, and delivery.
  • Ensure pricing meets revenue and profitability goals.



    • Bachelors’ degree (MBA preferred)

    • Minimum four years’ experience as a Project Manager or Product Marketing Manager

    • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
