Our Boulder County client, a global leader in the industrial and grid scale power conversion space seeks a multi-discipline engineering configuration management – documentation control professional to join their engineering organization. The culture is collaborative and fast-paced offering a broad mix of projects, with many new products in the pipeline for commercialization. You will have a broad-based skill-set. You will be passionate about well documented engineering processes, procedures, testing, supplier relationships and manufacturing operator - assembly instructions. You will have a strong interest in working with a seasoned and stable R&D - engineering - production - manufacturing (on-site) workforce. An interest and ability to actively contribute on multiple projects offering varying degrees of complexity, challenge and scope. You will be open-minded and flexible, as your day will find you juggling multiple projects and priorities. You will be a hands-on, collaborative team player with an interest in working with and learning from a seasoned workforce that delivers only the best of class products with a burning desire for customer satisfaction.
Location: Boulder County, Colorado (A reasonable daily commute for those along the north Denver metro to Fort Collins corridor)
Compensation: Salaried. Profit sharing. Full benefit package, i.e. healthcare, retirement plan, PTO.
Required: Highly effective with general business computer software and general data management: Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio (MS products preferred others okay), image capture and annotation, file conversion, etc. Able to automate repeated tasks. Able to create and manage large sets of files with appropriate structure. A proven ability in writing very clear, concise business reports, business process documents, with proper structure, organization, grammar, etc. Experience using databases and ERP systems: creating - managing bills of materials, item masters, basic customization of tables/queries/reports. Experience using - managing a formal change process, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and-or Document Change Notice (DCNs). A basic technical understanding of mechanical and electrical components and the documentation used to describe them.
