Customer Service Manager - Manufacturing
Salary Up To $120,000 + Excellent Benefits & Paid Relocation to the Houston Area

Major manufacturing company is looking for a Customer Service Manager for one of their Gulf Coast facilities.  You’ll manage the day-to-day activities of Customer Service Representatives team while ensuring effective delivery of service to all levels of internal and external customers.  You will also support the order receipts and handling work processes.
Working with the Customer Financial Services, Sales, Receivables, Commercial, Supply Chain and other internal departments, you’ll lead the CSR’s through the total order management process maximizing internal resources to optimize value and economic profit.
You will need to be a model customer advocate across all functions, a change agent, as well as understanding business strategies.  This is a great opportunity to build and work with a solid team of professionals and move your career in an upward direction.
As the Customer Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the day to day operations of defined business team and geographies
  • Exercising your excellent managerial and people management skills
  • Response & management of key issues such as logistics and manufacturing  
  • Drive business strategy execution across the team by collaborating with other depts.
  • Serve as a Primary Liaison between sales, supply chain/logistics and technical services
  • Ensure department budget on the basis of operational needs while identifying the resources required to meet those needs
  • Provide oversight for transportation issues and inventory management
  • Manages department in line with the business & company objectives.

Minimum requirements for this Customer Service Manager:
  • BS Degree Business, Logistics/Transportation, Marketing, or other related discipline REQUIRED.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Customer Service in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a Logistics or Customer Service management position
  • Knowledge of US Regulations for Rail and Truck shipments
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
  • Outstanding Customer Service Skills
  • Effective time Management
  • Knowledgeable user of SAP and Microsoft Office
