Supply Chain Manager & Customer Service Manager - Manufacturing
Salary Up To $120,000 + Excellent Benefits & Paid Relocation to the Houston Area
Major manufacturing company is looking for a talented candidate who has Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service management for one of their Gulf Coast facilities.  You’ll lead the CSR’s through the total order management process maximizing internal resources to optimize value and economic profit by managing the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service Representatives team that handles the logistics & transportation of our products to our external customers.  You’ll ensure effective delivery of service to all levels of internal and external customers.  You will also support the order receipts and handling work processes.
As the Customer Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the day to day operations of CRS team
  • Response to & management of key issues such as logistics and manufacturing  
  • Serve as a Primary Liaison between sales, supply chain/logistics and technical services
  • Manage department budget while identifying the resources required to meet those needs
  • Provide oversight for transportation issues and inventory management

To be considered for this position, you’ll need a career combination of at least 5 years’ experience in these areas:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics Management
  • Customer Service Management – touching on sales, receivables, accounting
  • Domestic Shipping – truck & rail regulations
  • Inventory Management
  • Continuous Process Improvements
  • Team Leadership.
You’ll also need a Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Business, Logistics/Transportation, Marketing, or other related discipline and the following skills:
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
  • Outstanding Customer Service & Managerial Skills
  • Effective time Management Skills
  • Knowledgeable user of SAP and Microsoft Office.
