My client is expanding and looking to hire a Sr Tech Support Specialist to resolve computer issues for our clients.  This role has much potential for upward mobility and management opportunities.  The ideal candidate will take on the following tasks:
  • Assess, support, design, install, troubleshoot, and maintain corporate client IT environments
  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
  • Resolve issues for clients via phone, email, in person, or electronically
  • Recommend hardware and software improvements
  • Track customer issues and resolutions and ensure issues are resolved against service level agreements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
  • 3+ years experience in IT, customer service, and implementing and configuring server-based environments
  • Microsoft MCSE Certification
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license, have access to a vehicle, and be able to travel locally to and from client locations
  • Expert knowledge of Networks, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routers and ability to troubleshoot these devices.
  • VPN infrastructure design and administration (PTP, client based, Encrypted, IPsec)
  • Expert knowledge of newest versions of Microsoft Products
  • Advanced knowledge of Remote Management Systems/Software/Agents.
  • A+, Network+, Security+ certification desirable
