Lead Clinical Information Systems Analyst EpicCare experience required.
Our client is a world-class hospital system where people come from all over the world for treatment. We are seeking (2) Clinical Information Systems Analysts with EpicCare EMR or InPatient experience.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Management of projects, participates in feasibility study, estimating, planning, design, development, quality assurance, prototyping, implementation, modification and evaluation of automated systems for ambulatory services. Defining training requirements for end-users and project team members. Assist in training programs on automated systems. Recommends solutions, both automated and manual to enhance system functionality. Will also coordinate tasks of others as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Must have a clinical background to be considered for this position.
Must have experience with either EpicCare Ambulatory / EMR, or EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Systems to be considered for these two positions.
• Bachelor's degree and demonstrated leadership skills required.
• Masters Degree may offset additional years of experience.
• In depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice.
• Familiar with the processes and procedures related to regulatory agencies, i.e., JCAHO, Quality Management and preceptorship.
• Knowledge of various clinical information systems as applied and integrated with clinical practices.
• Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical skills.
• Project team leadership skills are important in this position.
Required Length and Type of Experience
• At least five years of applicable clinical experience in a hospital/major medical center or three years of recent applicable experience with implementing and supporting the EpicCare System
• Experience typically supported by license in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy or medical technology.
Preferred:
• Licensure, Certification in One or More modules of the Epic Application
